In 1957 Woodrow S. Wilson, Polytop’s founder, had a desire to make life easier for his beloved wife Orlene, who had recently suffered a stroke and partial paralysis during childbirth. Driven by that objective, he designed, developed and manufactured a dispensing closure incorporating a rotating spout that, for the first time, allowed one-handed operation for dispensing liquids and powders.

Polytop proudly continues that same innovative spirit today by designing and developing the most technologically advanced closure systems for the packaging industry.
